Shoofly's Lithographs have won numerous national and international graphic arts awards. The process reproduces his drawings using a duotone, which is two half tones, with different screen angles made photo mechanically from the original into regular grid patterns of various sized dots with equidistant centers to simulate shades of gray when viewed. The print, reproduced on metal plates, is ran on a multi-color offset (mechanical) press; one of the three colors being a clear coat of varnish. Each print is inspected by the artist and verified with his signature. As is the case with all works of art on paper, prints should be protected from moisture and exposure to direct sunlight.
